Terms of Service

Last updated 11 October 2026

These terms set out the agreement between you and Cipher Space (operated by Vishal Khistariya) ("we", "us") when you use our website and AI image and video tools (the "Service"). By creating an account or paying for a plan you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over to create an account.
  • Give us accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. What the Service does

The Service uses AI models to edit images, analyse and edit video, count and track objects, and — on the Enterprise plan — monitor live camera feeds. AI results can be wrong: counts, detections and edits may contain errors. Check anything that matters before relying on it, and do not use the Service as the only safeguard in situations involving health, safety or security.

3. Plans, credits and payment

  • Credits. Processing is paid for in credits. One credit covers 20 seconds of GPU processing time. Before a job starts we show an estimate; the final charge is based on the processing time actually used, and is never more than 1.5× the estimate. If a job fails, you are not charged for it.
  • Plans. Free includes 40 credits a month. Pro (£49 a month) includes 400 credits and Business (£99 a month) includes 800. Enterprise is priced by individual quote and may be covered by a separate written agreement, which takes priority over these terms where they differ.
  • Billing. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions, charged in advance and renewed automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).
  • Monthly allowance. A paid plan's credits reset at the start of each billing period; Free credits reset on the 1st of each month. Unused monthly credits do not carry over.
  • Top-ups. You can buy one-time credit packs. They are used only after your monthly allowance runs out and carry over from month to month while your account is open.
  • Changing plan. Upgrades take effect straight away and Stripe charges the difference for the rest of the billing period. Credits already used that period still count towards the new plan's allowance.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails we will let you know by email. If it is not resolved, we may move your account to the Free plan.
  • Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects your subscription, so you can cancel first if you wish.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Account → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed; your account then moves to the Free plan. Refunds, including your 14-day cancellation right as a UK consumer, are explained in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your content

  • You keep ownership of everything you upload ("your content") and the results we produce from it. You give us permission to store and process your content only to provide the Service to you.
  • We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
  • You must have the rights to everything you upload. If your images, videos or camera feeds show people, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to process that footage under UK data protection law — for example, displaying CCTV signs where required. For that content you are the data controller and we process it on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • break any law, including by carrying out covert or unlawful surveillance of people;
  • upload content you have no right to use, or content that is illegal, abusive or infringes anyone's rights;
  • try to get around credit limits, security or access controls, or overload our systems;
  • copy, reverse engineer or resell the Service without our written agreement.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Connected storage and webhooks

If you connect your own cloud storage (such as Amazon S3 or Cloudflare R2) or add a webhook, we access or send data only as you instruct. You are responsible for the permissions you grant and the endpoints you provide. Storage credentials you give us are stored encrypted.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or improve features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.

9. Our liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. If you are a consumer, your legal rights are not affected.
  • If you use the Service for business, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, or for indirect losses, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
  • Keep your own copies of important files — the Service is not a backup system.

10. Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing enquiries@cipherspace.co.uk. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why where we are able to.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes we will email you before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Please contact us first — most problems can be sorted out quickly.
